We're back on the bus. Heading home soon

We had a great time. We didn't get to see the speakers because we got there too late. Our bus was a couple hours late. As it turned out you had to be there two hours early to see good. There are many tales to tell. Just a few pictures below.

I got to be a Girl Scout for a day

Last Saturday, January 14 a group of nine Girl Scouts from Minoqua came down to make some jewelry in my studio. They were all either nine or 10 years old. The girls were very attentive as I described the different techniques we would use and the different types of necklaces they could makeI was happy that all the girls loved using the torch to change the color of their metal it was fun having the girls with me for the afternoon   they seem to have fun. I sure did. But I was tired

Textured paintings I just made

I created the texture and these paintings using joint compound. After two coats of varnish I replied yellow paint. After another coat of varnish I applied red paint. After another coat of varnish I applied green paint. After another coat of varnish I applied brown paint. Then it just needed one more coat of varnish
