Here Jordan is at our table. You can see the palace out the window. He had a cup of 'punch' which was actually a rum drink. I had a goulash soup.
Next stop, the strudel demonstration which was back at the bottom of the hill by the palace. Delicious apple strudel. I have a great video of a woman preparing the dough for the strudel but I can't, or maybe just don't know how to, put a video in the blog.
Here is the dough in mid air
More nutrition needed. Description of this dessert is on the next picture. It really was delicious. Ate this treat in the revolving restaurant at the top of the tower.
You can see the Danube tower in the picture behind this girl. I asked to take her picture for Fiona because she loves braids and braids her own hair in many different ways. We chatted with this girl and her boyfriend. Seems they know the area in western Austria where we are going on Wednesday. We will take the train to Innsbruck, stay over night, rent a car, and drive to Stubenbach which is the town Herbies father is from.
Later we met Richard near St Stephens cathedral and went to a famous Austrian restaurant. Wiener schnitzel and potato salad.
