Tuesday, august 6, getting close up to Mandela
The major event of the day was our visit to Soweto Township which is on Johannesburg. Nelson Mandela's house from before he went to prison is there. It has three rooms which are quite small. The whole house is probably 15x25 feet. It was a strange feeling to be there and be reminded of his life there and the violence of that time.
