Day 2 in london

We rode the London eye at night. New views.

This picture is on the London eye. We were so tired. We had been up for two days

Saturday morning we took the tube to Portobello Market

Lots of musicians were playing at the mRket. Many were pretty good

A poster I saw in the market. Thought it fit with the family

Fried potatoes....spiral cut!

Our lunch. Food from Ghana. Delicious...scant drops of HOT sauce.
Hot is an understatement. Betsy

Models in a square. There were being photographed by many, but were posing for one in particular....note the "painted gloves"

In St Martin In the Field church. The group was rehearsing for a concert held tonight. It was exciting to see them all interacting. This will make listening to them on WPR more fun

One of the grave markers in the basement of St Martin

Afternoon coffee break at St Martin...clotted cream and scones

Jane and I did rubbings from brass plates at St Martins
And I just rubbed the clotted cream all over my body----heavenly. betsy

I'm doing my rubbing.

Jane was attacked by the grim reaper in Trafalgar Square.

Kamil...our wonderful information man at Trafalgar Square guided us to our next stops. We are in front of the National Gallery Museum.
Kamil was only one of many fabulous young men we met. Betsy
