Twananani Textiles where they use stitching, printing, dyeing, beadwork and embroidery This project provides employment for women in a region of high unemployment (75%).
This group of women danced for us. They were very enthusiastic and really got into the dance. Each dance represented a story. One was about being a woman deserted by her man and lef to take care of her family


This woman sat on a cement floor and made a clay pot in about 10 minutes with no potters wheel. She had some simple plastic tools which had been recycled from packaging

Three friends who were also shopping in the fabric store. They removed the towels they were wearing to keep off the rain when they knew we wanted to take their picture. We have met no one who doesn't want to have ther picture taken
